​Samarani Dental Clinic’s story began in 1999, a year after Dr. Rawad Samarani graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. In 2002, he graduated in Periodontology (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures) from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. In 2013, he completed his Master of Research. 
Since 2002, Dr. Samarani has been an integral part of the Periodontology Department at Saint Joseph University, where he serves as a senior lecturer and clinical instructor. In 2019, he took on the role of director for the Advanced Implant Surgery Diploma program.
He has made significant contributions to the field, publishing 20 papers in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Notably, he authored a textbook chapter titled “Revisiting Guided Bone Regeneration in the Esthetic Zone,” published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2019. Additionally, Dr. Samarani is a proud member of the implant council at the British Academy of Restorative and Implant Dentistry.
As a sought-after lecturer, he conducts courses on guided bone regeneration, full-arch implant rehabilitation, and immediate implantation in esthetic zones, having trained hundreds of dentists worldwide.

Immediate Loading of Dental Implants

Dr. Rawad Samarani is a pioneer in immediate loading of dental implants. He has been practicing it since 2003.
He has on his record thousands of immediately loaded dental implants. He also lectures about immediate loading in local & international scientific meetings.
Immediate Loading of dental implants is one of the major advances in implant dentistry. It means putting the implant immediately into function by restoring it immediately after placement with a temporary fixed tooth or prosthesis.

​When properly applied, Immediate Loading is able to

• Provide immediate function & esthetics
• Shorten treatment time
• Reduce treatment visits
• Stimulate bone healing around the implant
• Increase patient acceptance of implant therapy

Immediate loading is not applicable in every situation, that's why our experience is paramount in selecting the candidate cases and in applying it correctly.

Immediate loading of implants to restore a full arch:
re-establishing function & esthetics of an entire jaw within one day only (even in bone deficiency cases).

This immediate loading protocol was adopted since 2003 by Dr. Rawad Samarani.
Now, and after many years of experience with this technique, several hundreds of treated cases and several publications on the subject, Dr. Rawad Samarani is being invited to share his experience at the international level about this technique. This revolutionary technique uses 4 to 6 implants per arch to offer immediate rehabilitation of a patients’ teeth. In a matter of hours, it turns a patient with no teeth to someone who can chew, speak and smile normally.
A major milestone in this approach is the possibility to deliver the treatment in jaws classically considered deficient in bone volume by making use of neighboring bone structures like the pterygoid bone, the nasal bone or the zygomatic bone.
